Utility Incentives: Home Performance Program (HPP)
The audit / installation contractor will provide the contract for your review within an agreed upon amount of time after the site visit audit.
All contractors provide the same NHSaves - HPP formatted contract. All contracts are produced from the same utility approved software modeling tool. Of course, the projected savings, all around cost, your share of the cost, building sections treated will vary.
All contractors work off an approved price list. For example, the total cost of 500 sq. ft. of R38 attic floor insulation will cost the same to all statewide customers. All hourly labor, where needed, is the same rate.
Currently, cost effective dedicated air sealing labor is paid 100% by the NHSaves program.
Currently, all other work is paid 75% by the NHSaves program.
Currently, NHSaves program will fund up to $6000 of cost-effective measures, per electric or gas meter.
Utilities are limited to a maximum of $6000 incentive per utility meter serving the property. Homes with 1 meter serving more than 1 occupancy unit are limited to 1 incentive.
Utility incentives are disbursed according to cost effective packages of measures. Packages consist of various individual air sealing and insulation measures. If the package becomes non cost effective due to the removal of one / some of the individual cost-effective items in the package, the incentive won’t be provided.
